This boy loves his daddy so much! I love it.

10 Months Old!
I can't believe Preston is almost a year old. The months are flying by as he gets more and more fun and is less and less work!
We went swimming with daddy in our pool on the 7th. Preston LOVES water so much. He gets pretty excited as we are about to get in the pool.
At this point, Preston is pulling up all the time. He loves to stand on the stairs in the pool too.
He's also a pro at feeding himself and prefers to pick up food on his own rather than be fed. His favorite foods are fruit and cheese. He also loves juice! Sweet tooth!
He pretty much grew out of 12-month size clothes this month. I didn't really realize he was growing out of his clothes and I kept trying to shove him into them. He hated it. I blamed him for being cranky when changing, but it was my fault! Mom of the year!
Our days are spent in the cool of our home. We watch a lot of Yo Gabba Gabba on days when I am really tired. He is addicted to that show. It's the only thing he will pay attention to. It's such a weird show, but oddly mesmerizing!
These pictures are the beginning stages of Preston's pulling up. He loves to grab at whatever is on the coffee table. (There's usually a lot!)
Cute boy! I love him. He's got such short legs and a loooong torso. Preston is still taking 2 consistent naps around 9 and 1 every day.
Who needs toys? We get a ton of diaper boxes in the mail. Preston has been wearing size 4 diapers since April.
He is always so happy and content to be on his own. I wish he liked to cuddle more, but he's a boy. What can I say? Look at this adorable kid!!!

June 6: Hanging Out On Daisy Dog's Birthday
June 6 was our puppy, Daisy's, birthday. I fostered her and her siblings and couldn't bear to part with her sweet face. Don't ask me why I have three dogs. I'm insane.
Preston is pretty good at collapsing the baskets that we keep his toys in. Awesome.
Little miss Daisy herself with her probable dad, Bo, peeking in the window.
This was the next morning. Good profile pic of Preston's belly. Full of cheerios and apple juice! Just chillin'.
Preston loves to squint and smile for the camera.
Often, I let him watch his favorite tv show, YO GABBA GABBA, in the morning while he eats breakfast. Mostly I let him watch it because I am still trying to wake up at 6 a.m.
Handsome, 'nuff said.

Baby in a Box
I had this HUGE wardrobe box that I ended up not using for the baby shower in a box, so I put my baby in it.
He wasn't too thrilled... even started crying! TORTURE!
Then I got the camera out and he realized I wasn't going to abandon him in there.
He ended up having fun and cheesin' it up for me. I love his fat little feet and wrists. I just want to squeeze them all the time!
I think there was some teething going on here.
This sweet boy learned to hold his sippy cup all by himself May 29th (Happy Birthday Grandpa Trent)! He also peed through his diaper all over my lap at church on June 3, had his first chicken enchilada AND LOVED THE HECK OUT OF IT on June 4, and pulled up to his knees and bit his crib rail on June 5th (same day as these pictures... teething. I knew it.). On June 7th I went in to get him out of bed in the morning, and he was STANDING. What the heck? This kid is growing up fast!

Baby Shower in a Box
One of my friends had her first baby girl on May 29th. She doesn't find out the gender until after her babies are born, so it would have been hard to throw her a shower before her baby was born. And with 3 little ones, I knew it would be hard for her to get to a shower after her baby was born, so...
I gave her a "baby shower in a box".
I collected a bunch of gifts from our friends.
I also made these big brother bags for her sons.
I guess I went for a circle theme with the food. Grapes, watermelon, strawberry cake balls. (There were enchiladas too...not round though!)
The garland had little baby gifts in it like hairbows and baby tights, and travel size baby toiletries.
I threw everything in (except the food) and added some balloons.
Then Michael helped me finish wrapping it.
It turned out so cute and it was a lot of fun! I hope my friend and her family had a good time opening everything!

Happy Medornio (Memorial) Day!
On Preston's first Memorial Day (May 28th), we went to the ward Memorial Day breakfast. Dad had flag duty with the scouts, so Preston sat patiently (and happily, I might add) waiting for dad at 7 a.m. before Michael picked us up. The breakfast was fun! Preston loved the pancakes. We invited Michael's parents and brothers to come along too.
Later that evening, we got together for a barbecue with Michael's family to celebrate Gpa Trent's birthday (which wasn't until the next day).
Preston spent the time cheesin' with Aunt Melissa and Uncle Blake.
Then we hung out at the table waiting for the food to cook.
Don't these fellas look alike? Must be BROTHERS!
Just hanging out...
You can tell we are a lively bunch.
Love my chunky boy! Preston is absolutely solid. You can't feel this kid's ribs. He must have got that from his momma.
Happy Birthday Gpa Trent! 51 years young!
Uncle Malachi had a great day apparently.
Preston was sick of the serious discussion I was having.
So I livened things up a bit.
Aunt Miriam and Uncle Bryce showed up just as we were leaving, so we decided to snap a few Reynolds Family pictures.
It was definitely someone's bedtime.
The End.

In the Merry Month of May
May was very merry because of all of the sleep we were getting around here. Love it! This kid sleeps 12 hours with one waking to eat around 3 a.m. I have been waiting his whole life to get this kind of sleep! Some fun things that happened in the middle of May:
Preston had his first cheese and absolutely loved it. I will put an assortment of food in front of him and he will pick out all of the cheese chunks first. It's pretty hilarious. Definitely takes after his daddy with the cheese-loving.
Preston sat up for the first time all by himself on Mothers Day while were we having dinner at Gma and Gpa Reynolds' house. Happy Mothers Day to me! I didn't get any pictures with my son on my first Mothers Day. How lame is that? I feel really stupid. It wasn't that great of a day anyway, so oh well!
We did a lot of swimming in May. It was awesome. Too bad Daddy isn't much of a fan!
Preston LOVES his monster truck from Gpa Preston. He loves anything with wheels. He will flick and roll the wheels over and over again. Pretty cute! I think my dad is thrilled that he likes trucks and cars so much.
Preston pretty much always gives me a cheesy grin when I pull out my camera nowadays. He's hilarious. He also started to sit-up full time around the middle of the month.
We attended uncle Malachi's high school graduation on May 24th. Preston was up until 10 p.m. He was soooo good, but we had had it by the end of the ceremony. It was really windy and the speakers were deafening. We couldn't stay to take pictures afterward. Congratulations Malachi!
We started hitting up the splash pad at Espee Park a lot. Preston loves to sit in the middle of everything and get splashed a little. He's so cute in his swimsuit. On May 25th, we were met by Max, Malachi, Gpa Pam and Gpa Trent at the splash pad. Preston did some swinging as well!
Preston is a pro at saying "dada" but we haven't gotten a "mama" out of him yet. He screeches and squeals and gives everyone a huge grin. Then he starts wiggling and shaking his head. That's pretty much his reaction to anything new and exciting. He also "dances" to music. His love for Yo Gabba Gabba is infinite. We watch the first 2 seasons on Netflix over and over. I have every song memorized!
Preston loves music. He likes to sit in his high chair while I perform various songs and arias for him in foreign languages. It's fun to have an audience!
Michael and I spoke in church on May 27th. That was crazy because I had to leave sacrament meeting like right after I spoke because Preston was cranky. He usually only makes it until 9:15 or so. (Did I mention that church starts at 8:30? YUCK!) He usually takes a 20-30 minute nap in the mothers lounge while I nurse him.
We are still nursing regularly. In the morning when he wakes up, before each of his two naps, before bed time, and once when he wakes up at 3:00 a.m. I have never had to buy formula! Hooray!
Love, love, love my big little man!
