Week 7

Week 7 was a hard one for all of us. My grandpa passed away on September 11, so on the 18th, we flew to Idaho Falls for his funeral on the 19th. It was pretty crazy to take such a little baby (6 weeks old) on an airplane. Luckily the flights were short and Preston mostly slept in his dad's arms.

Preston had had a stuffy nose for a week by the time we left, and it really flared up on our trip! Poor baby! And poor me. I hardly got any sleep at all.

Our hotel was really awesome and had a gorgeous view of the Snake River and Idaho Falls temple. The weather was amazing too! It was in the 70s during the day and the 40s at night. It was weird to have to make sure Preston was bundled up. We are definitely not used to cold weather. He doesn't even have a jacket that fits him.
